It extends about 300 metres inland, with a width of also about 300 metres. While the settlement of Cala Morlanda adjoins the area to the north, the hinterland is hardly built on. On the northern shore of Cala Morlanda is the bathing area of the settlement Cala Morlanda, which extends in a semicircle around this area of the bay. Since the settlement is elevated on the cliff coast framing the bay, several stairs lead down to sea level. Nearby are typical fish restaurants and tapas bars as well as a small fishing harbour.
